Bonanza Basenjis
Complete the application below to be considered for a Bonanza puppy. We get more applications than puppies. Average litter size is 3-6; we do not breed a litter every year. Show homes are prioritized. Gender and color preferences are taken into consideration, but not guaranteed.

Basenjis are not hypoallergenic, and they do shed. This is not the reason to get a Basenji. That being said, with their short hair, they are very clean and do not require much grooming which makes them easy keepers.
The typical wait for a Basenji puppy is 6 months to 2 years. Our bitches come in heat once a year, puppies are born in late winter.
What to expect from us:
- If your puppy application sparks our interest there will be a phone interview before acceptance.
- We do not ship puppies. You MUST come and get the dog.
- There is a contract between you the buyer and Bonanza the seller.
- Puppies can go to their homes after 10 weeks old; they will be microchipped, given their first vaccinations and AKC registered.
